Demon Slayer Season 2 New Footage Released For Mugen Train Arc


Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 will kick-off with a seven-episode adaptation of the Mugen Train arc from the hit film Demon Slayer: Mugen Train before the story moves forward to the Entertainment District arc this December, and now, fans are excited to find out more details about the new episodes.

On Sept. 25, Ufotable announced when the new Demon Slayer episodes will be released as well as what to expect in anime TV show's take on the Mugen Train arc. A new trailer for the Mugen Train arc has given fans a look at what to expect.

The promo reel for Demon Slayer's 2021 run has revealed new footage from the Mugen Train arc, showing additional scenes featuring Rengoku and Tanjiro. The trailer also gives us a glimpse at the highly-anticipated Entertainment District arc, which is set to premiere this December.

Of course, more fans are excited to see the Entertainment District arc since the story of the Mugen Train arc was already shown in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Mugen Train film, which is now the highest-grossing anime film. However, the Mugen Train arc will also feature new footage, new music, as well as new open and ending animations.

Demon Slayer Season 2 will premiere with a one-hour-long episode to kick off the Mugen Train arc on Oct. 10; The Entertainment District arc will start on Dec. 5.
