Demon Slayer Season 2 Gets Mysterious New Teaser, 2021 Release Confirmed


There is little doubt that fans have been hoping to see some new footage from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Yukakuhen. Luckily, that's exactly what we got from the new Season 2 teaser along with an awesome confirmation that the anime will be back later this year.

It has been some time since we got the first trailer for Demon Slayer Season 2. Nevertheless, it did confirm that the series will see Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke joining the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui at the Yoshiwara red-light district.

Amazingly, we just got a new teaser for Demon Slayer Season 2 courtesy of Funimation which confirms that the anime will stream on the platform later this year. In addition to that, it features Uzui giving the young Demon Slayers a warning about the dangers of the Yoshiwara red-light district.

The teaser actually features the latest key visual for Demon Slayer Season 2 that finally features the Entertainment District Arc's main antagonist Daki. Although we saw glimpses of Daki in the previous trailer, the key visual offers a better look at her Blood Demon Art.

It's great to know that Demon Slayer Season 2 will be available for streaming on Funimation later this year. However, the official release date has yet to be announced. There is a huge possibility that the anime's second season will premiere sometime in October or November. Hopefully, an official announcement will be made very soon.

Demon Slayer Season 2 is officially titled Yukaku-hen (Entertainment District Arc). However, the second season is expected to adopt the next story arc as well. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
