Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 7 is the final episode in the anime's Mugen Train arc. So will this chapter conclude with Rengoku Kyojuro finally helping Tanjiro Kamado learn more about Hinokami Kagura?
When Tanjiro finally met Rengoku, he immediately asked the Flame Hashira about Hinokami Kagura, the Breathing style Tanjiro learned from watching his own father perform their family's ritual ceremony. Interestingly, Rengoku stated that he doesn't know about the technique but was quick to offer Tanjiro an apprenticeship.
What Is Hinokami Kagura?
Tanjiro doesn't know much about the Breathing style since he only learned it by watching his father when Tanjuro was performing their family's ritual ceremony. However, the Breathing style has already helped him twice in the anime and Tanjiro believes there is more to learn about the technique.
Although Rengoku himself doesn't know anything about Hinokami Kagura, he points out that mastering Flame and Water Breathing is a sure way to eventually become a Hashira. This could be the reason why he offered Tanjiro an apprenticeship in the first place.
Can Rengoku Help Tanjiro Learn More About Hinokami Kagura?
As mentioned, Rengoku is not familiar with the Breathing style. However, he somehow made it possible for Tanjiro to learn more about Hinokami Kagura. By giving the boy messages to relay to his father and little brother, Rengoku ensured that Tanjiro would visit his family's estate where Tanjiro will find information about an ancient technique similar to Hinokami Kagura.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 Episode 7 concludes the Mugen Train arc and prepares fans to learn more about Hinokami Kagura. The episode is titled Set Your Heart Ablaze ("Kokoro o Moyase") and will air on FujiTV on November 28, 2021, at 11:15 PM JST.
