Demon Slayer Game The Hinokami Chronicles Drops Stunning Trailer

There is little doubt that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of the most successful media franchises right now, as proven by the success of the manga, anime series, and movie. So will the franchise find the same success in its video game? The story trailer for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles has just been released and it promises a truly exciting new game.

The story trailer for The Hinokami Chronicles opens with the Dance of the Fire God being performed by Tanjuro Kamado but the scene changes and puts the focus on his son Tanjiro facing off against a boy named Sabito.

The trailer pretty much confirms that the game will stay true to the manga and anime's storyline as Tanjiro trains to be a Demon Slayer to cure his sister Nezuko. There is also a glimpse at the game graphics and we can't wait to see a full gameplay trailer for the title.

Interestingly, The Hinokami Chronicles is already set for release in October. Fans have been quick to point out that the video game will be available at about the same time that Demon Slayer Season 2 is expected to premiere. Although the anime's release date has not yet been announced, people believe the series will return sometime in October.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles is developed by CyberConnect2 and will be published by Aniplex. Sega will handle the publishing of the game in Asia.

The title will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Series S and Steam on October 15, 2021.
