Death Stranding Comes to PC this June, Half-Life Bonus Content Teased

Though initially sold as a PS4 exclusive, Death Stranding is going to be headed to PC this year. What's great is, Kojima Productions has finally given us a release date, and we have some confirmed bonus content.

From the get-go, we get to see a lot of Half-Life content teased, from the tech gloves to the Valve knob on the back of Sam's head. If you watch all the way to the end, you'll also see that Sam is wearing a headcrab hat. Besides that, I'm sure there's probably more Easter Eggs coming to the game, especially for those who pre-order.

Besides that, the perks of playing Death Stranding on PC will include a photo mode, higher frame rate, and ultra-wide screen support.

When Death Stranding initially came out, the reviews were kind of mixed. Though Hideo Kojima was applauded for the unique elements he brought to the game, a lot of people thought that DS was a very boring walking simulator; then again, there are people on Kojima's side that bash on others for simply not ‘getting it.'

Sam Bridges must brave a world utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the disconnected remnants of our future in his hands, he embarks on a journey to reconnect the shattered world one step at a time.

With spectral creatures plaguing the landscape, and humanity on the verge of a mass extinction, it's up to Sam to journey across the ravaged continent and save mankind from impending annihilation.

Death Stranding is currently available for the PS4, but it comes to PC on June 2 via Steam and Epic Games Store.
