Ryan Reynolds Hilariously Slams Hugh Jackman's 'Wolverine Claw Training' For Deadpool 3

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have been hyping up Deadpool 3 through their own means of marketing. Upon teasing the return of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine with the collaboration of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool for Deadpool 3, the two actors would exchange banters on their own humorous videos, capitalizing on their playful friendship through the internet. Today, Ryan Reynolds hilariously slams Hugh Jackman’s ‘Wolverine Claw Training’ on Twitter.

Hugh Jackman just tweeted a short clip of a car door bearing a familiar animalistic claw figure (look familiar?), with the caption, “My aim may be a little off right now. But trust, it will be on point when the need arises. #Wolverine10 @VancityReynolds @ShawnLevyDirect”. Check out his tweet below:

Not only was he ‘marketing’ Deadpool 3, but also his return as the iconic Wolverine, seeing as he had previously shared his regret of retiring from the role after his last film in 2017, Logan.

In response, Ryan Reynolds was quick to reply by tweeting back with, “That’s my Kia Sorento, you dick.”

Seeing these two raise the hype on their own was nothing but an effective strategy in bringing Deadpool 3 into the light. Even in a recent Variety interview, Hugh Jackman had once again talked about how much of a ‘diva’ Ryan Reynolds is in real life. You can also watch his interview below:

“Ryan Reynolds takes up so much air in the room. It’s crazy, it’s just an insatiable need. Or a vat of needs and wants.” Although he does change his tone to open up a bit more honestly about how excited he is to return to play Wolverine:

“I can tell you, I’m going to have the time of my life. I can tell you that I’ve started back at the gym and I’m eating a lot and I feel bad for the cast of Music Men, the amount of protein shakes I’m having. But it’s a lot of fun. It’s been five years, and I really never thought I’d come back, and I’m really, really excited about it. Actually, I do know a bit about the script, but I’m not going to tell you.”

In fact, this might even become one of the greatest things to happen in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What more can we expect with fourth wall breaker Deadpool and a Wolverine comeback?

Deadpool 3 hits theaters on November 8, 2024.
