Deadpool 2 Has Found Its New Director

One of the brilliant minds behind Deadpool may have left in another director exit incident. However, fans may breathe easy, as it's very likely that the sequel will be well under way.

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that another director has already signed up for the project. And this director is none other than John Wick's David Leitch.

Leitch is already signed and sealed to deliver the direction for the sequel. According to the report, Leitch has already met with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, after which he was offered the position.

Oddly enough, even before production could fully start for Deadpool 2, Fox is already on the hunt for the director of Deadpool 3. What's even more odd is the fact that Leitch may not be the sure director for the third installment. Of course, it is also possible that Fox is just taking some precaution, especially following the creative differences breakup between Tim Miller and the second movie.

It appears that Miller's exit was not a solo incident, because the moment he had disagreements with Reynolds for the movie's tone and Cable's actor, composer Junkie XL will also not be returning for the sequel.

Presently, there are three more names tagged to Deadpool 3, which will reportedly see Deadpool with the X-Force. These director possibilities include Rupert Sanders, Drew Goddard, and Magnus Martens. All three have some experience with superhero or action movies.

Of course, what made the Merc with the Mouth's movie great is, well, his mouth. And the two succeeding films better have the same wit in them if they're looking to continue the legacy that the rare R-18 hit movie got.
