Ezra Miller is already no stranger to making headlines for his erratic behavior and over the last couple of months, The Flash star has once again found himself in the middle of a harassment scandal following his shocking arrest in Hawaii last March.

In case you didn't know, Miller reportedly faced charges of disorderly conduct and harassment after causing a scene at a local bar. In a separate incident, the 29-year-old actor allegedly threw a chair at a woman in the island's lower Puna district.

Unsurprisingly, this sparked a massive uproar from the DCEU fandom who have been demanding Warner Bros. to fire him from the franchise. It was previously rumored that WB even called an "emergency meeting" to address the matter but that has since been denied. All they've done so far is to push back The Flash's release date.

Now, in a stunning new development, WB is reportedly exploring its options with regards to Ezra's potential replacement as the Scarlet Speedster. According to ScreenGeek, the production company is currently eyeing Maze Runner and Teen Wolf star Dylan O'Brien to become the DCEU's new Barry Allen. The specifics weren't disclosed but the 30-year-old star seems like their top choice.

Well, if that's actually the case, then I think this is the perfect opportunity to reboot the entire DCEU altogether and start fresh. I mean, let's face it, the franchise's image and credibility have long been tainted and there's no other way than to accept that the current universe needs a complete overhaul.

We can still keep actors like Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, and Zachary Levi around while bringing in new faces to the fold. And with the whole Warner Bros. Discovery about to usher in a new era, giving the DCEU a revamp makes absolute sense.

That said, Ezra Miller's The Flash is expected to hit cinemas on June 23, 2023.
