Plans for the vampire thriller movie were first announced in 2020, but the film was not included in Netflix’s list of releases until the summer of 2022.
Day Shift Cast: Who are the Actors Included in the Netflix Movie?
The Day Shift cast has Jamie Foxx for the lead role, a dad working a blue-collar job from 9 to 5 but then moonlighting as a vampire hunter. He will be joined by Dave Franco, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci, Steve Howey, and C.S. Lee.
By April 15, 2021, a new set of names were added to the cast, which included Meagan Good, Karla Souza, and Scott Adkins. We will also see Eric Lange and Zion Broadnax. The latest addition to the Day Shift crew is Snoop Dogg.

Day Shift was directed by JJ Perry. Perry is a veteran in the industry after working as a second unit director and stunt coordinator for many hit movies such as Bloodshot, Fast & Furious 9, The Fate of the Furious, and the entire John Wick franchise.
The screenplay was written by Tyler Tice with edits by Shay Hatten with Chad Stahelski as the producer.

Day Shift is about a father who works hard to provide a good life for his daughter. He works as a pool cleaner, but his day job is only a front for his actual night-shift employment as a present vampire killer. The film is an action movie, but with Jamie Foxx in the lead, we can expect to see a lot of comedy.
