The live-action remake of the 1955 animated classic Lady and The Tramp just got its official release date along with a paw-sitively adorable poster of its lead stars.

The poster was shared on the official Disney+ Instagram account ahead of D23 Expo 2019. Check it out below.

Fans who loved the original film will instantly get nostalgic just looking at the poster. It recreates the iconic scene where Lady and her new friend are treated to a spaghetti dinner while being serenaded with the song Bella Notte. If you look closely, there's a meatball in there that has been pushed towards the cocker spaniel as well.

Lady and the Tramp is expected to be one of the first original Disney+ movies that will begin streaming on the service this November. Unlike The Lion King, it boasts of a cast of real dogs, most of which are rescues. It has also been confirmed that the pups who appeared in the film have all found their forever homes as soon as production was wrapped.

The poster and release date reveal might only be the start. There is a possibility that the first trailer for Lady and The Tramp will be unveiled at D23 later today.

The synopsis for Lady and The Tramp reads as follows:

"Lady and the Tramp is set to tell the story of an upper-middle-class American cocker spaniel named Lady (Tessa Thompson) who meets a streetsmart, downtown stray mongrel called the Tramp (Justin Theroux), and the two embark on many romantic adventures including that iconic spaghetti smooch scene."

The movie will be available for streaming on Disney+ on November 12.
