As the release date nears for Cruella, the origin story of the iconic villainous and fashionable Cruella de Vil from the 101 Dalmatians released a new sneak peek with the original soundtrack made for the film titled "Call Me Cruella" and it is sung by a familiar voice, award-winning artist Florence + The Machine.

The whole musical score and soundtrack of Cruella will have its release a week before the film goes out to theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access. The composer of Cruella, Nicholas Britell, is a fan of Florence + The Machine wherein they would perfectly fit the bill on the rock aesthetic that the film requires.

In a statement released by Florence + The Machine about the collaboration for the song, it says "Some of the first songs I ever learned how to sing were Disney songs, and the villains often got the best numbers. So, to help create and perform a song for Cruella is the fulfillment of a long-held childhood dream. I'm so grateful to Nicholas Britell and Disney for allowing me so much creative freedom, and for trusting me with Cruella's beautiful madness."

Set in 1970's London, Estella, a young grifter tries to make her own name in the fashion industry amidst the punk rock revolution. She gets noticed with a stunning fiery dress at a social event, one which fashion legend Baroness von Hellman (Emma Thompson) could not ignore. Cruella builds her way to the top through mischief, on her way to embracing the dark and wicked side she has.

Cruella stars Emma Stone as the titular character and she will be joined by Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Joel Fry, Mark Strong, and Emily Beecham. It will be directed by I Tonya's Craig Gillespie, screenplay by Dana Fox and Tony McNamara, and story by Aline Brosh McKenna and Kelly Marcel & Steve Zissis. The designer behind the stunning costumes of Cruella will be two-time Oscar-winning costume designer Jenny Beavan.

Cruella premieres in theaters on May 28, 2021, and it will have the same-day release on Disney+ Premier Access for an additional $30 on top of the monthly subscription price.
