Cowboy Bebop Live-Action Teaser Offers First Glimpse at John Cho's Spike Spiegel Hair

It has been a very long wait for the live-action Cowboy Bebop series but we finally got an awesome update. The first teaser for the highly anticipated show has just been dropped and it offers our first glimpse at John Cho's fabulous Spike Spiegel hair.

The teaser for Cowboy Bebop was shared by Netflix Geeked and it confirms that Yoko Kanno will be working on the soundtrack for the live-action series. Kanno had previously worked on the original anime so her involvement in the Netflix show is certainly a welcome one.

As a treat, we get to hear Kanno's composition in the teaser. However, it gets even better as we get our first glimpse at Cho and his co-stars Daniella Pineda and Mustafa Shakir. The best thing is, Cho's hair is perfectly Spike. Check it out below.

The wait for Netflix's Cowboy Bebop has been very long considering that production had to be halted after Cho suffered an injury during filming. In addition to that, the show was pushed back further due to COVID-19. Luckily, we'll finally get the series later this year.

Cowboy Bebop is being developed by André Nemec and Jeff Pinkner. The series will star Cho as Spike, Pineda as Faye Valentine, Shakir as Jet Black, Alex Hassell as Vicious, and Elena Satine as Julia. The new show has not yet been given an official release date but is set to premiere on Netflix in Fall 2021.
