Christmas with You Spoilers Up Ahead
Christmas with You is a Netflix original Holiday movie about an international pop star who is on the brink of losing her deal with her label.
Aimee Garcia plays Angelina, a Latina pop star who finds herself pitted against some of today's rising stars. When her next concert is a few weeks away, she learns that her record label will drop her unless she comes up with a brand-new Christmas hit.
After a discouraging encounter with her producer at the studio, Angelina decides to chase inspiration by granting a fan’s Christmas birthday wish - to get a selfie with the pop star. Angelina traces Cristina (played by Deja Monique Cruz) and her father, Miguel (played by Freddie Prinze Jr).
Miguel is a music teacher at the local high school. As a widowed father, she raised Cristina with the help of his mother. Miguel and Cristina share a love and talent for music, but Miguel is reluctant to share his work with the world. So, when a snowstorm keeps Angelina and her manager stuck at their house, an unlikely partnership (and romance) blooms.
Christmas with You is heart-warming and light holiday romance that effectively gives the Latin community center stage.

The are four original tracks in the movie, all sung by Aimee Garcia.
Garcia, who is apparently not a trained singer, shared in an interview that she was quite nervous about accepting the role. She was offered the chance to play Angelina after displaying her singing abilities in Lucifer, another hit show on Netflix.
