Country singer Chris Stapleton is now getting everyone’s attention after perfectly delivering his rendition of the National Anthem at Super Bowl 2023.

Chris Stapleton’s Life and Career
The 44-year-old has been known for dropping some of the most acclaimed albums and co-writing songs for other artists. He, too, is an award-winning singer with several credits to his name.
He started his career in 2001 when he decided to pursue a degree in engineering but later dropped out to follow his dreams as a singer.
He then signed a contract with Sea Gayle Music and started to write and release his own music.
Come 2018, has credits for writing and co-writing more than 170 songs. Six of them have become number-one country songs, like “Never Wanted Nothing More,” “Your Man,” “Love’s Gonna Make It Alright,” and “Drink a Beer.”

His songs have also made it on the albums of the hit singers, such as Adele, Kelly Clarkson, and Taylor Swift, among others. In addition, he has co-written songs with Vince Gill, Ed Sheeran, and Sheryl Crow, to name a few.
As a singer, Stapleton used to be a vocalist in two bands: the SteelDrivers and the Jompson Brothers. He then went solo and made his debut in 2015 with the album Traveller, which became number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was certified four-time platinum by RIAA.
His rendition of “Tennessee Whiskey” was also certified by the RIAA, while his second studio album From a Room: Volume 1, earned him a second CMA Award for Album of the Year and a Grammy Award for Best Country Album when it dropped in 2017.

He won his third Grammy for Best Country Album when he released his fourth studio album, Starting Over, in 2020.

Stapleton performed the National Anthem before officially kickstarting Super Bowl 2023, along with Oscar winner Troy Kotsur, who helped sign the song for the viewers.
Aside from him, Babyface and Sheryl Lee Ralph also sand “America the Beautiful” and “Life Every Voice and Sing,” respectively.

Before the special event, Stepleton shared the moment he learned he would perform at the said event.
"Its one of those calls you don't think you're going to get," he said during a press conference, via E! News. "Then you get the call, and you're like, ‘OK! Let's do this."
