Check Out Superman Actor Henry Cavill’s Full Costume As Geralt In The Witcher

There might not have been that many updates on Netflix's upcoming live-action The Witcher series the past two months, but it looks like a new photo taken from the show's set has managed to make its way online, showing Henry Cavill's full costume for his role as Geralt of Rivia.

Netflix might be trying to veil The Witcher in secrecy now that the series is knee-deep into production, but somehow stealthy fans have managed to stake out the show's location, capturing a photo of the Batman V Superman star in his full Geralt outfit. Twitter account Henry Cavill news shared the image of Cavill's version of the monster slayer, giving fans an idea of what the DCEU star might look like as the witcher.

Check it out down here:

Cavill's costume looks very much like what Geralt usually wears, though the photo's quality is just too low to make out the details of the outfit. Maybe we'll be able to get clearer photos of the actor soon.

Aside from the photo, there isn't that much news about The Witcher series. The last update came from Lauren S. Hisrich back in January, the series producers and showrunner confirming that the show definitely isn't for 5-year-old-children.

The news is definitely reassuring. After all, The Witcher books by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski has always been adult-oriented.

Directed by Hisrich, Alik Sakharov, and Charlotte Brandstorm, The Witcher series will feature Cavill alongside Freya Allan, Jodhi May, and Adam Levy.

The Witcher is set for release sometime next year.
