The secret is finally out: Charlize Theron has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe, thanks to the awesome mid-credits scene in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Now that the film has been screening in theaters for a couple of weeks, it looks like the Mad Max: Fury Road star has been given the go-signal to confirm her involvement in the MCU sequel. So it's no surprise that Theron has shared a behind-the-scenes video revealing how she became Clea in the movie!
Charlize Theron has pretty much spoiled her involvement in Doctor Strange 2 soon after the premiere. After all, she attended the red carpet premiere event then posted a photo with the caption "Cat's out of the bag." Soon after that, Theron shared a selfie introducing Clea to her followers.
Interestingly, Charlize Theron's latest post gives people a behind-the-scenes look at how she transformed into the Sorcerer Supreme of the Dark Dimension. Check it out below.
It's great to have a better look at Clea's purple suit and we're hoping that this means Theron will continue to appear in the future MCU projects. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
In Doctor Strange 2, Stephen Strange appears to be settling down in his own universe when he is suddenly approached by Clea who emerges from a different dimension. She then tells him that his actions have led to an incursion that he needs to fix and he follows her into the Dark Dimension.
For now, it is unclear if the third Doctor Strange film will show us more of Stephen and Clea's new mission. However, we're happy to know that Clea is finally part of the MCU and is being played by Charlize Theron.
