We've long established the fact that Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie have amazing chemistry together and it doesn't come as a surprise how the stars of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have formed a close bond behind the camera. Given how the two A-list actors have shared the Marvel Cinematic Universe spotlight for nearly a decade, fans assume that they've always stayed connected even outside the Marvel bubble.
Well, it turns out that's not the case and Sebastian himself recently made a stunning revelation about the status of their friendship, claiming that he hasn't heard from the Sam Wilson actor for four months now. In a new interview with Yahoo Entertainment's Kevin Polowy, Stan claims that Mackie has yet to return the text message he sent in November 2021 and said they're taking a break.
He jokingly said: "Oh no, Anthony first of all hasn't returned a text of mine since November of 2021, so. We're taking a break. I sent a picture of my Christmas tree and I got nothing in return."

Obviously, Sebastian is just messing with Anthony and for the longest time, they've been partners in crime in and out of the MCU. Meanwhile, we still don't know what the future holds for their respective characters in the billion-dollar franchise but with rumors of a fourth Captain America being greenlit, it's safe to assume that Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes will continue to be Earth-616's dynamic duo.
