Spears and Ashgari dated for six years before they tied the knot. However, nearly a year after they exchanged vows, they are reportedly having constant rows and their pals are worried that they are heading for divorce.

A source close to Spears told Heat World.

"Things haven't been right for a while. Britney is still angry and frustrated about the way she was treated for all those years, and often takes it out on Sam."

The tipster continued:

"It's having a huge impact on their marriage, which is hanging by a thread. She's had crisis talks with friends and is very upset, but while everyone is sympathetic, until she works on her own issues, it's futile trying to fix the relationship."

The source said that Spears' husband is already struggling with her behavior. He had been her rock in the past years, especially when she was still fighting to terminate her conservatorship. However, he is reportedly "burnt out."

A source said:

"Sam's so burnt out by it all, he just bolts and lets her get on with it most of the time, which makes her even more upset as she's left to fester."

The Toxic singer's friends are hoping that the celebrity couple will be able to patch things up. For them, Spears is lucky to have a very supportive partner in Asghari. Also, their friends said Asghari understands and loves her.

Their pal said:

"Sam still loves Britney very much and understands where her bad moods are coming from. They do have good days and moments, especially when she can bring herself to leave the house."

Spears and Asghari wed on June 9, 2022, at her home in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles. The singer and actor met on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video in 2016. Asghari played as her love interest. Spears chose him as soon as she laid her eyes on him.

Spears told a radio host in 2017 about Asghari, per Vogue:

"I was like, 'He is really cute. This guy is really cute.' So then I called him and ever since then... he is just a really fun, funny person."
