Brad Pitt and Bradley Cooper are close friends, but they have kept their bromance relatively private. In January 2020, Pitt surprised his fans when he credited Cooper for helping him get sober. At the time, the Ad Astra actor also said that he loves Cooper so much.

Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper Talk About Their Relationship Problems
National Enquirer, in its Jan. 3 issue, claimed that Brad Pitt and Cooper are so close to the point that they talk about their relationship problems. And the former allegedly advised the latter to rekindle his relationship with Irina Shayk.
Since Pitt divorced his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie in 2016, he realized how important it is to not just throw relationships away. And he doesn’t want Cooper to follow in his footsteps.
“Brad’s encouraged Bradley to repair the relationship. Given the way his only family imploded and his ongoing court battle with Angie, he thinks Bradley shouldn’t let a good thing get away,” an unnamed source said.
Brad Pitt Encouraged Bradley Cooper To Reconcile With Irina Shayk
The unnamed source added that after Pitt encourage Cooper to reach out to Shayk, he followed his suggestion that’s why the exes have been hanging out again. In fact, Cooper and Shayk were photographed together with their daughter, Lena just weeks ago.
“They looked very lovely, walking arm in arm. It seems they’re back on the road to romance and Brad is the one who steered them there,” an unnamed source said.

Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper Are Sober
While it is true that Pitt and Cooper are close, there’s no proof that the former was the one that encouraged the latter to get back together with Shayk. There’s also no confirmation that Cooper and Shayk are back together and it’s possible that they are just hanging out because they co-parent their daughter.
Pitt and Cooper share similar experiences because they both struggled with their sobriety in the past.
While speaking with The New York Times, Pitt shared why he decided to finally turn his life around.
“I had taken things as far as I could take it, so I removed my drinking privileges. You had all these men sitting around being open and honest in a way I have never heard. It was this safe space where there was little judgment, and therefore little judgment of yourself,” he said.
In 2012, Cooper opened up about his addiction and sobriety during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
"I don't drink or do drugs at all anymore. Being sober helps a great deal,” he said.
The Silver Linings Playbook actor also shared a harrowing experience at a party that made him decide to get sober.
“I was at a party and deliberately bashed my head on the concrete floor...like, 'Hey, look how tough I am!' And I came up, and blood dripped down. And then I did it again. I spent the night at St. Vincent's Hospital with a sock of ice, waiting for them to stitch me up,” he said.
Pitt and Cooper have not relapsed in years and they have stayed true to their pact to stay sober forever.
