Borderlands 3 Officially Confirmed After Awkward Presentation

If you missed GearBox's presentation in PAX East, be grateful. While it did end with the reveal we were all waiting for, Borderlands 3, it was also riddled with technical issues that resulted in a number of laggy trailers and someone possibly being fired. Still, the show might have been awkward but we now know that the next official installment of the series is coming and it looks great.

Though no release date was announced, fans can check out the trailer and admire how good it looks and be thankful that they weren't in PAX East to witness the choppy versions. Then again, those in attendance were able to get remastered versions of the previous Borderlands games for free, so that's a great little incentive for watching an awkward show.

Keeping the comic book-style cel-shaded visuals, the trailer shows off the four new characters, as well as returning favorites from previous games, whether they're from the very first game, it's sequel, the Pre-Sequel, or even Telltale Games' Tales of the Borderlands. It's clear that they want this game to do well with fans and we can't wait to see more.

Hopefully, with no magic shows or choppy videos.

More information on Borderlands 3 will be revealed soon.
