Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is one of the most trending anime shows right now, and fans are happy to see Ichigo Kurosaki's return as he and his Shinigami allies battle Yhwach and his Wandenreich army. Now, creator Tite Kubo has teased a mysterious announcement about his popular shonen series.

As sown in the tweet below, Kubo shared a teaser that caught fans' attention. The mangaka posted a date and time for the announcement, and the accompanying image features Rukia Kuchiki.

As you can see, part of the image is cut out, but you can see the letters "GS" in the photo. You can see that Rukia's design comes from the Thousand-Year Blood War, but it's still unclear what the letters mean.

Fans will have to wait until December 2 to find out what the announcement is about, but some fans speculate that it could refer to Kubo's recent revival of Bleach. Back in 2021, Kubo announced the shonen's continuation with the Howl from the Jaws of Hell arc, but the artist hasn't shared any updates about that. Of course, that could change with Kubo's upcoming announcement, so stay tuned.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is now streaming on Disney Plus and Hulu.
