Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Merchandise Possibly Reveals New Atlantean Villain

People have great expectations when it comes to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. For instance, it is believed that Namor the Sub-Mariner will be introduced in the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. However, it looks like he isn't the only character from Atlantis who will show up in the movie. New merchandise for the MCU flick possibly confirms another Atlantean villain will be introduced!

The concept art that will be used for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever merchandise is being shared on Twitter. The first one is an interesting one since it features the Atlantean warlord known as Attuma. Check it out here.

Attuma was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and he first appeared in Fantastic Four #33 in 1964. He is a nomadic Atlantean warlord who believes that he was destined to conquer Atlantis, a belief that causes him to clash with Namor in the comics.

It's interesting to know that Attuma will make his MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever but he isn't the only Atlantean (at least in the comics) who now has some cool concept art that will be featured in merchandise. Namor the Sub-Mariner also got his own artwork and it appears that the character will have an interesting new look. Check it out here.

This shouldn't be a surprise considering that it was previously reported that Namor's origins will be changed in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. According to the report, Namor will not be from Atlantis but from a submerged city in Mexican culture. Tenoch Huerta's character will be the son of a mortal and the queen of the said city.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will bring back Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett. The film is currently scheduled for release on November 11, 2022.
