Black Panther 2 Reportedly Adding Namor the Sub-Mariner's [SPOILERS]

It's no secret that Namor the Sub-Mariner is expected to be a huge part of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. However, it looks like the Atlantean will not be alone when he faces the Wakandans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. A new report suggests that the film will also feature one of Namor's powerful relatives and Marvel is already eyeing an actor who could play the Sub-Mariner's ally.

We already know that Black Panther 2 is set to introduce Namor into the MCU and that the character could be played by Narcos: Mexico star Tenoch Huerta. So it shouldn't be a surprise that Marvel might be bringing in other Atlanteans into the sequel.

Murphy's Multiverse reports that Black Panther 2 will also introduce Namora, the Sub-Mariner's fellow Atlantean. The character is the daughter of an Atlantean father and a human mother. In addition to that, she happens to be Namor's cousin and shares some of his powers.

But who will play Namora in Black Panther 2? The report points out that Mexican actress Mabel Cadena is already in talks to play the Atlantean warrior. However, it is important to point out that casting has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

For now, we are waiting for an official confirmation about Namora and the other Atlanteans who will show up in Black Panther 2. The only official announcement made recently was that of Michaela Coel joining the cast of the sequel.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is scheduled for release on July 8, 2022.
