Big Mouth is a new MBC TV Kdrama that has been getting viewers’ attention. Spearheaded by Girls’ Generation member YoonA and actor Lee Jong Suk, this hard-boiled noir series is directed by Oh Choong Hwan and written by Kim Ha Ram.
Big Mouth Episode 1 premiered on July 29, 2022, at 9:50 PM KST. According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode received a nationwide viewership rating of 6.2%.

Big Mouth Episode 1 sees Park Changho as a dedicated lawyer but with minimal cases on his hand.
Despite graduating from law school with satisfying results, no law firms were interested in him, and some even gave him the nickname “big mouth” because of his personality of always speaking boastfully and proud.
Park Changho is married to Go Miho, a nurse at a well-known hospital. The two live happily, but the pressure of earning enough money to pay their debt affects their relationship.

After discovering that Changho had lost tons of money, Miho thought that getting divorced would give her a break.
She also works hard to earn money, taking shifts after shifts in the hospital. But Changho had the urge to lose their money without consulting her first.
Changho did not go home for a few days and stayed in his office. He takes on a huge case specially assigned to him by the mayor.
Although doubtful about it, Changho works on the case hoping to receive a huge amount of money afterwards.
One night, several people from a loan shark company arrive at their residence looking for Changho. They seize personal properties and demand to get paid within a couple of days.

Lee Jong Suk Takes On A Major Case In Big Mouth Episode 1
The case involves three big names in the city. And observing that the mayor had personally reached out to him about it, Changho thinks he could use it to his advantage.
After getting the dashcam evidence, Changho attempted to blackmail Gong Jihoon into paying him three billion won in exchange for the recording. He was confident that Gong Jihoon had ordered the murder. But to Changho’s surprise, Gong Jihoon did not even bat an eye about it.
Changho gives the retainer money to Miho. It was the advanced payment from mayor Choi Doha.
Coincidentally, the day after is Chango and Miho’s wedding anniversary. So Changho had reserved a room at a fancy restaurant for them.

While eating, Changho received an urgent call. He rushes to the car on his way to the caller’s whereabouts. He felt dizzy and out of mind while driving. It turns out that the iced coffee given to him by the restaurant’s staff is weird.
