Right off the bat, you should probably know that Better Call Saul Season 6, like other AMC series Mad Men and The Walking Dead, as well as fellow crime drama Ozark, is divided up into two parts.

Better Call Saul's final season finalizes the journey and transformation of its compromised hero, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. From the cartel to the courthouse, from Albuquerque to Omaha, season six tracks Jimmy, Saul, and Gene as well as Jimmy's complex relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn), who is in the midst of her own existential crisis. Meanwhile, Mike (Jonathan Banks), Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando), and Lalo (Tony Dalton) are locked into a game of cat and mouse with mortal stakes.

The season (and series) finale of Better Call Saul will premiere on Aug.15.
Better Call Saul Season 6 will have more fleshed-out flash-forwards of Jimmy as Gene Takavic, a Cinnabon manager who has appeared intermittently throughout the series, according to showrunner Peter Gould. That begs the question of whether Jimmy/Saul/Gene will meet his end in the black and white of a strip mall.
