Ben Schwartz Teases Fun Interactive Sonic the Hedgehog Standees

Everyone may have been hating on Sonic the Hedgehog when the first teaser came out, but after the redesign everyone is onboard with the film. Just in, Sonic voice actor Ben Schwartz has posted up a video teasing the fun standees for the movie.

Check it out:

It looks like there are three standees in the video, with two of them being interactive. The first one lets people run through a ring and look like they're running behind Sonic, and the second one has Sonic sitting in a theater with chairs beside him for people to sit in. The last one looks like your basic standee, but I'm not even complaining since the first two are so fun.

For now it looks like the Sonic movie is back on track. Not only did Paramount fix the look of Sonic, but they were able to do so without spending too much money, and without forcing the artists to work overtime. After all this news of animators getting abused by big studios, it's great to know that nothing like that happened with Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sonic tries to navigate the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound best friend -- a human named Tom Wachowski. They must soon join forces to prevent the evil Dr. Robotnik from capturing Sonic and using his powers for world domination.

Catch Sonic the Hedgehog when it hits theaters Feb. 14, 2020.
