Ben Affleck has always had a busy and flourishing acting career. Even during the pandemic, he was cast in at least one movie, and he has also made several television appearances. However, one of the actor’s most recent interviews was dubbed as controversial after Affleck said that he felt trapped in his marriage to Jennifer Garner.
Following the backlash, sources are saying that Ben Affleck decided to take a step back from the limelight until the criticisms die down. However, this doesn’t mean that the dad of three isn’t feeling the pressure.
Ben Affleck Struggling To Deal With Jennifer Garner Feud
OK! magazine, in its Jan. 17 issue, claimed that there are too many things on Affleck’s plate. In fact, he’s struggling to juggle them all. The Batman v Superman star is trying to repair his relationship with Garner while also trying to ensure that his relationship with Jennifer Lopez would last.
Additionally, Affleck has been accepting acting gigs left and right, and they have made it even more impossible for him to get some rest.
“He’s not acting right in the head. He’s making a lot of bad decisions. It’s troubling that he took out his frustrations on Jen, who tried to help him with his sobriety,” an unnamed source said.
Ben Affleck Worried Jennifer Lopez Would Leave Him Again
The source also claimed that Affleck is also stressing over the thought of keeping Lopez because he couldn’t believe that she would get back together with him after all those years.
“The fact that they even got back together feels like a miracle. He doesn’t want to mess things up,” the unnamed source said.
Ben Affleck Has Been Accepting Acting Gigs Left And Right
When it comes to his acting career, Affleck knows that he has young children that he needs to support. So, he has allegedly been pushing himself too hard.
“He’s been putting impossible demands on himself. Ben’s running himself ragged and needs to take a step back. Otherwise, at this rate, he’s a ticking time bomb waiting to explode,” the unnamed source concluded.
Affleck has been making headlines due to his past and upcoming projects. This proves that he’s, indeed, very busy. However, there’s no indication that he’s been pushing himself too hard to the point that he could break down.
Ben Affleck Is In A Good Place In His Life
During a recent interview with Matt Damon, Affleck even said that he’s in such a good place in his life.
“It's true it ends on a much happier note. Not easy and not always smooth, but good. I don't know that that would've been possible for me alone, doing this job in this world without somebody I grew up with who I loved, who I knew loved me and had my back, who believed in me, and whom the popularity of my movies or what people said about me wasn't going to change what they thought about me,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

Ben Affleck Admits He Was Struggling During Justice League Filming
During another interview, Affleck also talked about what it was like to make Justice League. Surprisingly, the actor said that it was an awful experience for him.
“It was really Justice League that was the nadir for me. That was a bad experience because of a confluence of things: my own life, my divorce, being away too much, the competing agendas, and then Zack’s personal tragedy and the reshooting. It just was the worst experience. It was awful. It was everything that I didn’t like about this,’” Affleck said.
However, the actor clarified that he wasn’t complaining about Justice League per se but the timing of the movie. So, it could’ve also been a different film but Affleck would’ve still felt the same way.
