Sources suggested that Lopez’s diva behavior is a big part of Affleck’s problems. An insider told National Enquirer:
“Ben’s unhappiness is mainly due to how controlling and rigid Jennifer is, not to mention her being downright unfriendly to his friends and family. But in her mind, he’s the one with the issue. She thinks he just needs to snap himself out of his funk because it’s not only embarrassing but also potentially damaging to their brand.”
Informants claimed the tension had been slowly building between Affleck and Lopez since their extravagant second wedding in Georgia in August. One tattler noted:

The magazine added that Lopez was annoyed with Affleck at the prestigious event. The “Let’s Get Loud” hitmaker, as per reports, reportedly scolded her husband, demanding that he “look more friendly, look motivated.”

“Ben is a dependent addict and Jennifer is a control freak who needs constant affirmation. This is almost as though she’s branding him as her property and sending a signal to the world that he belongs to HER – which is ultimately a recipe for failure in a solid relationship.”

Another tipster claimed Lopez seems to be showing “the bloom has rubbed off the romance” and “is determined to save this relationship at all costs rather than another scandalous breakup. She firmly believes in couples counseling and says they need to commit to a few sessions, at the very least. And she’s not asking Ben at this point, she’s telling him!”
Tattlers claim Affleck, who allegedly started talking about divorce after the Grammy dustup, will use therapy to loosen the leash around his neck.
