Avengers Endgame: Smart Hulk without the Green Skin will Haunt You

Even before Avengers: Endgame came out, there were some people editing the Hulk to give him human-colored skin, and it was deeply unsettling. With more HD photos of Smart Hulk coming out on the internet though, there was no stopping the internet from pulling some more of these creepy edits.

Admittedly, this new Hulk actually looks a lot more like Ruffalo. If you look at Hulk in some of the older movies, his features are actually more monkey-like, probably the show trying to make him look like a caveman and implying that he isn't that intelligent. With Bruce Banner fully in control now, the Hulk has a more average-looking brow, and you can see a lot of Ruffalo in it.

Though some may think that the Hulk was neutered by the end of Endgame, I thought ‘Smart Hulk' was a perfect way to end Bruce Banner's arc. The whole series we see him struggle with the duality of being Banner and the Hulk, but in Endgame, he accepts his flaws for what they are, and he gains full control—with the slight hiccup that he has to be Hulk 24/7 now.

I just think it's great that Banner manages to find peace with himself. If that ain't character development, then I don't know what is.

We don't know when we'll be seeing the Hulk again onscreen, but you can watch him in Avengers: Endgame which is still out in theaters.
