Avengers: Endgame Directors Joe And Anthony Russo Are Teasing Major SDCC Announcement

Marvel is making its way to this year's San Diego Comic-Con International and the studio is giving Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo their own panel during the convention.

While fans originally assumed that the panel would simply be meant as a reunion panel for Avengers: Endgame's cast and crew after completing the Russo's epic two-part Avengers movie, it seems like the filmmakers might have another major announcement planned for the event.

This week, the Russo Brothers decided to take to Twitter to share a video showcasing the date "7/19/19" over audio of what appears to be the crowd's reaction when the trailer for Avengers: Infinity War was screened at SDCC a few years ago.

Check out the clip down here:

Though the filmmakers don't really explain what the video means, we'd like to assume that the date provided on the video refers to the Russo Brother's upcoming panel at the convention. For those who haven't been following the news, the panel is being scheduled for Friday, July 19, at 11 am – a date coinciding with what's written on the video.

This post certainly seems like the Russos have something more in mind than just a reunion panel. However, we're not quite sure what kind of announcement the filmmakers are going to make. Do they have another movie in mind? Are they getting ready to create a Disney+ series? Are the filmmakers planning a special release?

We'll have to hold on to the edge of our seat and wait and see. It won't be a long wait. The panel is just a week away.

Marvel's latest release, Spider-Man: Far From Home, is currently screening in cinemas.
