Assassin's Creed Unity Now Free on PC to Honor Notre-Dame

After the burning of Notre-Dame, the cause of which has yet to be determined, everyone seems to be doing their part to make sure that it get rebuilt. While this has caused some controversy with some (many feel like these billionaires could easily give money to the poor), the move has been received in a mostly positive way. Fans also loved how France will be using Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Unity to help rebuild the landmark.

In an interesting move, Ubisoft is now giving the game away for free. So those that want to check out Notre-Dame can play the game and see it there, at least until it gets built again, though that will likely take months, if not years, before it becomes better.

Fans who have a gaming PC and a U-Play account can download the game easily. Those that haven't signed up to U-Play yet can do so now if they really want to check the game out. Considering how the world is mourning for the church, now is a good as time as any to get it.

At the time of its release Assassin's Creed Unity received some negative criticism since it was rushed out and had a ton of bugs. After numerous updates, the game is now perfectly playable and many are saying it's one of the more solid entries in the series.

Gamers can get Assassin's Creed Unity free on PC now if they have a U-Play account. It is also available on PS4 and Xbox One.
