Are We Getting a New Crash Bandicoot Game on PS4? Fans Find Solid Evidence

Crash Bandicoot has had a good few years, thanks to the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled being great remakes for modern-day consoles. The former Sony mascot's popularity has also led to a great comeback for Spyro, who made waves with the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. These remakes/remasters have proven to be truly excellent but fans want to know one thing; when are we getting original games with the two.

While Spyro might have to wait a while, it looks like we should be getting ready for a Crash comeback. It all started with Sony's Time to Play commercial, which had a moment that showed Crash, Coco, and Cortex racing around with their mask allies floating about. However, there was a new mask shown in the background, who hasn't appeared in any of the games thus far.

Nicolas Kole, an artist for Spyro Reignited Trilogy developer Toys for Bob, gave a coy response to the evidence.

Then, Reddit users found an advertisement for Crash Bandicoot about the PlayStation 4. At first, no one really bated an eye until they noticed that the model used for Crash was completely different from the one in N. Sane Trilogy and CTR Nitro-Fueled. In fact, the model looks like a much better version of his original model, which made fans even more excited.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but I saw our guy on a bus today. Really took me by surprise!

Currently, no official word on a new Crash Bandicoot video game has been officially revealed but it would be awesome if we get a hint in the near future. Activision has usually released a teaser or two right before the remakes were announced so expect something from them first.

Fans can get the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
