Apex Legends Announces Free-For-All Solos Mode

While it didn't end up being a Fortnite killer, Apex Legends did end up being a quality multiplayer shooter that a lot of people still enjoy to this day. It was proof that EA did know how to make a decent online game and showed that battle royale shooters are far from dead, despite what some critics on the internet will tell you.

Seems like players who have been patient with the game's flaws was worth it since the official Twitter account has announced a new mode that players have been asking for; Solos mode. This is a mode that removes the team-based gameplay and makes it a free-for-all where only the strongest and smartest survive. Considering how expansive the maps are in the game, this is a very good thing.

Oddly enough, the Solos mode will only be available for a limited time, which is weird. Then again, Apex Legends made its name on teamwork-based shooting so it might be a good thing that the mode won't be around for too long. Still, anyone who wants to try EA's attempt at this mode should play the game from August 13 to August 27.

Apex Legends is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is free-to-play, though there are season passes that add cosmetic changes.
