Another Poster for Sonic the Hedgehog Shows Off His 'Realistic' Legs

A lot of people were ecstatic when the trailer for Detective Pikachu came out and gave us some realistic Pokemon, but no one is sharing the same feelings with the Sonic the Hedgehog film. A lot of people didn't like the look of the first motion poster that was teased, and now a new one that's leaked online gives us another look at Sonic's ‘realistic' legs.

Check it out:

So far, this is the only synopsis we have for the film:

A cop in rural town of Green Hills will help Sonic escape from the government who is looking to capture him.

I have to say, despite the reactions, this movie has a lot of good things going for it. Besides having Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation) cast as Sonic, you also have the likes of Jim Carrey, James Marsden, and Neal McDonough as members of the cast.

So far, we can't have a realistic gauge of expectations for this movie, seeing that it's being helmed by newcomer Jeff Fowler. If it's any consolation though, Deadpool director Tim Miller is also attached to the movie as executive producer—so it can't be that bad.

If anything, reactions may end up just like the rebooted Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Everyone thought they looked weird in the trailers, but when the movie came out, everyone eventually came on board with the new look. Most likely the same thing will happen with Sonic.

Catch Sonic the Hedgehog as he zips into theaters Nov. 8, 2019.
