And Just Like That Season 2 Trailer Gives a Glimpse of Aidan’s Return, Meeting with Carrie

HBO Max has dropped the official trailer for And Just Like That Season 2, giving a glimpse of the returning character Aidan (John Corbett) finally meeting Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker).

It was previously announced that Corbett would return to And Just Like That Season 2 to reprise his role as Aidan. Now that Carrie’s husband, Mr. Big (Chris Noth), is dead, would she rekindle her romance with Aidan?

The 89-second trailer shows the new adventure Carrie and her friends, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), are about to take in the new season.

“No matter what life hands you, you can always count on your closest friends to be there,” Carrie can be heard narrating.

From there, a montage of scenes features the relationships of Miranda and Che (Sara Ramirez) and Carrie and her podcast producer, Franklin (Ivan Hernandez).

“It’s just sex!” Carrie said.

“And just like that,” Carrie continued, “I realized some things are better left in the past. But maybe… not everything.”

Just when she thought her love life was back on track, her ex-boyfriend Aidan appeared, shaking things up.

Aidan plays a major role in Carrie’s love life in New York City. He’s one of the most important relationships Carrie had.

Their love blossomed and grew deep, making things serious between them.

But when Carrie slept with Mr. Big while they were in a relationship, they broke up twice, eventually ruining their engagement in the fourth season.

Fans last saw Aidan in Sex and the City 2 in 2010. At the time, Carrie kissed him after meeting him by chance in Abu Dhabi.
