1000-Lb Sisters Star Amy Slaton Still Smokes While Pregnant
Amy Slaton made better progress in her health and weight loss journey compared to her sister Tammy Slaton. She has a family and has a 15-month-old son, Gage. She and her husband, Michael Halternam, are expecting their second child together. However, the pregnant mom still smokes.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Amy told the outlet that she no longer drinks alcohol, but she still smokes. However, she controlled her smoking habits. She used to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day or 20 sticks and reduced it to about five a day. The 1000-Lb Sisters stars said she was trying to cut it down.
Those who watch the family's TLC show would know that most, if not all, of the family members, smoke, including Amy's husband. She attempted to quit by switching to vaping in the past. Unfortunately, it didn't work and she ended up smoking again.
Just like her sister, Tammy, Amy has a list of health problems that's why she had to end her bad habits. She is prone to high blood pressure, diabetes, and asthma. She insists that she is trying to live a healthier lifestyle.
Amy Slaton Might Not Return To 1000-Lb Sisters Season 4
Amy Slaton shared her plans if TLC will renew their reality show for another season. According to Tammy Slaton's sister, she is not sure if she will return to 1000-Lb Sisters.
The 34-year-old star said she couldn't do what she did in the last season when they filmed daily for weeks that's why she wasn't sure about doing another season. Aside from being pregnant, her son doesn't want her away.

However, Amy said the show was one of her sources of income, so she might return if they would cut down her filming hours.
"I don't really want to do another season because I'm pregnant, it's just a lot. If they cut down my hours I'll be probably fine," she told The Sun. "But last season, I was working every day for weeks, plus renovating a house, plus Gage, plus Tammy, plus my mom. It was just a lot last year, and I can't do it. I can't discuss how much I get paid, but that's my main job and posting videos on YouTube."

What to Expect in 1000-Lb Sisters Season 4?
If the Slaton family returns for 1000-Lb Sisters Season 4, the viewers will surely see Tammy Slaton's transformation. She is still in a rehab facility working on her health and shedding the extra pounds.
Tammy aims to qualify for bariatric surgery. She paid the pricey rehab from her own pocket and said in the Season 3 finale that she decided to take care of herself this time.

Also, her brother Chris said earlier that she had already lost 115 pounds after 30 days in the facility. Tammy is still in rehab, so she will likely lose more weight.
Meanwhile, Amy Slaton may or may not return, depending on the filming schedule. Hopefully, she will return with the rest of the family members.
Amy said that she has no idea when they will start filming because TLC hasn't contacted them yet.
