4. "Duel of the Fates"

Who could forget the iconic "Duel of the Fates" from legendary composer John Williams. While it debuted in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999), Star Wars fans will likely remember it for the part if played in the concluding chapter in the trilogy, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005).

In the third film in the prequel trilogy, Obi-Wan Kenobi and a pre-costume Darth Vader face off above the lava flats on Mustafar, in what is one of the most epic duels in the entire Star Wars franchise. And now, we hear "Duel of the Fates" playing in the brand-new Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer. Chills? Just a bit.

3. The Inquisitors

It's no mystery that Obi-Wan is being hunted by Inquisitors in the upcoming show, but that doesn't mean that there aren't a few surprises in the new trailer. The Grand Inquisitor, Reva, and the Fifth Brother, are all in pursuit, having been dispatched by Emperor Palpatine to execute all remaining Jedi in the galaxy.

However, listen closely, and you'll hear Reva make some direct references to Darth Vader himself. We hear her shouting "You can't run, Obi-Wan! You can't escape him!" By "him", she's obviously referring to Darth Vader, which gives us Rogue One vibes, reminding us of a time when Vader was genuinely frightening.

2. Darth Vader Himself

Towards the end of the trailer, we see a figure being prepped with black parts by droids. It's obvious who this is, but nothing prepared us to get a tease of Darth Vader himself in the brand-new trailer. After all, Disney and Lucasfilm are known for keeping things under wraps, but we're glad they didn't.

While of course Vader isn't fully revealed, his iconic chest plate does light up, foreshadowing a new reign of terror at the hands of the Sith Lord, as well as the "rematch of the century" with Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, as previously teased by Disney and Lucasfilm. And on May 27th, we'll have courtside seats!

1. The Iconic Breathing

Before the trailer cuts to black, we see Obi-Wan looking as if he's readying himself for battle. But the trailer's ending coincides with the most iconic breathing in cinema history - yes, that of Darth Vader. Whether or not the two are sharing this scene is unknown, but a reunion is inevitable nonetheless.

Here's to hoping that we'll be seeing more than just chest plates, heavy breathing, and references from other characters. While we'll likely have to wait until the final episode to see him, just being in his presence is exciting enough (although we appreciate that makes us sound like we're on his side).
