Alita: Battle Angel Producer Teases Sequel with Awesome New Image

It's no secret that people want a sequel to Alita: Battle Angel. After all, there is already a petition begging for a follow-up and fans have decided to call themselves the Alita Army. Not surprisingly, producer Jon Landau agrees with these fans and has just teased on the sequel with an awesome new photo.

Landau took to his official Instagram account to share a photo of himself wearing a T-shirt featuring Rosa Salazar's cyborg and an important message. Check it out below.

"Here's to The Alita Army and all of the fans of Alita: Battle Angel. Hope you are staying healthy and safe," Landau wrote along with the hashtags #alitabattleangel, #washyourhands, #alitaarmy, and #rosasalazar.

We're loving Landau's T-shirt, which gives you a good reason to keep washing your hands during the coronavirus outbreak. Needless to say, fans should be compelled to practice proper hand-washing and social distancing if they want to watch an Alita sequel.

But can we actually expect Alita 2? It was previously reported that Disney is already considering a sequel due to strong video sales and the fact that fans are very passionate about the first movie. Although this has yet to be confirmed, it does offer some hope for people who believe the Robert Rodriguez movie deserves a sequel. Hopefully, we'll get some good news soon and will be able to update this story in the future.
