Ahsoka Series Reportedly Bringing Back Sabine Wren

People are already expecting big things to happen in the upcoming Ahsoka Tano series. After all, this is our chance to find out what happened to the former Jedi after the events in Star Wars Rebels. Not surprisingly, it looks like we'll also get to see some old friends as well. A new report confirms that Sabine Wren will get her live-action debut in the Disney+ show.

Fans have speculated about Sabine joining Ahsoka's live-action adventure since Rosario Dawson was confirmed to join The Mandalorian Season 2. This is understandable since the two teamed up in search of Ezra Bridger in the Star Wars Rebels series finale. Unfortunately, Sabine didn't appear in The Mandalorian last year but she could be working with her friend in Ahsoka.

The Hollywood Reporter's recent post about Marvel's What If...? mentions other Disney+ shows and adds an interesting detail about Ahsoka.

"Now, Dawson is leading a live-action Ahsoka spinoff for Disney+, with sources saying Lucasfilm is looking for an actress to star opposite Dawson as Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren," the report reads.

It's great to know that Disney+ is now looking for an actor to play Sabine after reportedly casting two other major Rebels characters. It was previously reported that Alladin star Mena Massoud has been cast as Ezra Bridger while Rebels voice actor Lars Mikkelsen will continue playing Grand Admiral Thrawn, but this time, in live-action.

It's all exciting news but it is important to point out that Disney and Lucasfilm have not yet confirmed new cast members. For now, Dawson is the only confirmed star of Ahsoka. However, we could be getting an update before the end of the year.

Ahsoka has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
