Adam Warlock Confirmed to be a Key Player in Guardians of the Galaxy Game

After Adam Warlock made some noise following the casting of Will Poulter in the Vol. 3 movie of the franchise, the Guardians of the Galaxy Game made sure it is at par with the trend of the film it is based on. In a new trailer released, the character appeared for a few seconds and it was the perfect tease for him who is confirmed to be a key player in the game.

In the action-packed launch trailer of Guardians of the Galaxy Game by Square Enix, it showed a preview of what the players could get on the game, and the character designs are definitely over-the-top and amazing! Just check out Mantis and you'll see why. At the end of the teaser, a character that looks like Adam Warlock appears in the shadows making the brief stinger enough to stir attention.

The official Twitter page of the Guardians of the Galaxy Game confirmed that it is, indeed, Adam Warlock, and they seem to be teasing that he could be a friend or foe to the heroes. If you're following the comics, it would not be a surprise at all to see Adam Warlock in the game as a major point in the game is the Universal Church of Truth which worships an evil version of him that they call Magus. The tweet confirms he is, indeed, Magus.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will be available to play on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. It is now available to pre-order now with a package including an outfit pack of the various throwback outfits of the team. It has been confirmed as a single-player video game as well and there is no multiplayer mode.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will have its release on October 26, 2021.
