In a report from Wall Street Journal, Activision Blizzard Inc. said that after the company completed working on the reviews, 37 of their employees were already fired or pushed out following the allegations of sexual harassment and gender discrimination while 44 others got other disciplinary measures, formal warnings, and written reprimands.

The said reviews were composed of general complaints and other reports of misconduct in the company which could be serious. In the same report of Wall Street Journal, this information was to be released before the holiday season, however, it was alleged that CEO Bobby Kotick held back a summary, one which Activision denied.

In a statement of Activision Blizzard to Reuters, they said, "An interim update to our employees is still being worked on and the company remains committed to continuing to provide periodic updates on its progress."

Despite the reports of the Journal on the company having about 700 complaints on employee concern regarding misconduct in the workplace, the spokesperson of the company told Reuters, "Although one case is one too many, there were not 700 reports of misconduct."

Activision Blizzard also said that all the comments and the reports on the culture in the company, may it be an incident or some improvements in the workplace, matter to them. Action was clearly taken by Activision in firing dozens of employees and others receiving disciplinary action.

The lawsuit against Activision Blizzard was filed by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing after it was investigated that the company was allegedly honing a “frat boy” workplace culture, having gender-based discrimination and sexual harassment happening in the company.

A second lawsuit was filed by their investors as the company alleged that they intentionally failed to inform them of what is happening in the workplace. Not only Activision Blizzard was the sole defendant, but also enjoined in the case were CEO Bobby Kotick, CFO Dennis Durkin, and former CFO Spencer Neumann.
