Riot Games Extends Partnership With Amazon Prime Gaming, Offering Exclusive In-Game Content


Riot Games has worked with Amazon Prime Gaming since 2018, the developer has extended its partnership that will give players more access to exclusive in-game content for Riot's biggest titles, including League of Legends, VALORANT, Legends of Runeterra, and League of Legends: Wild Rift. Players will need to have an Amazon Prime subscription to unlock in-game cosmetics for these games.

Prime Gaming will also be a global sponsor across Riot's esports games, including League of Legends, Wild Rift, and VALORANT, bringing exclusive content during various events. Amazon will sponsor VALORANT Champions Tour competitions in North America and EMEA, and LoLEsports events from LCS and LEC. Prime Gaming will also serve as the presenting sponsor of the Agent Select component and 'Flawless' moment, as well as integration across Wild Rift esports global events in 2022.

Starting Oct. 27, all Prime members will be able to unlock the League of Legends Prime Gaming Capsule, which includes a 1,350 RP skin, 650 Riot Points, 200 Orange Essence, five Champion Shards, two sets of Series 1 Eternals, and a 30-day XP boost. Fans of League esports will also be able to collect an exclusive esports emote known as the Happiness Overload during the global events in 2022. Opportunities to claim the special emote will be promoted to viewers through in-broadcast placement during LoLEsports broadcasts and on LolEsports.com.

And starting Nov. 18, Prime subscribers will be able to unlock exclusive content for League of Legends: Wild Rift. There will be free content for the mobile game released for Prime members every two weeks for the whole year.

For VALORANT, Prime members can claim one year's worth of exclusive content for VALORANT gameplay. Rewards planned includes two weapon skins, two calling cards, four sprays, and four Gunbuddies.

In Legends of Runeterra, Prime members can claim content on a monthly basis including: three Rare Wildcards, one Tier 3 Prismatic Chest, and one Epic Card or Tier 3 Prismatic Chest.

Prime subscribers can claim in-game content for Riot's titles as they become available by logging in at gaming.amazon.com.
