5 Other Mandalorians Who Could Appear in The Book of Boba Fett

Boba Fett is the most iconic bounty hunter in the Star Wars franchise, but it's easy to forget that he's also a Mandalorian, like his father before him, Jango Fett. And now that The Book of Boba Fett has claimed the throne for Star Wars TV shows on Disney+, which other Mandalorian characters could appear in the show?

Here are five Mandalorian characters from other Star Wars TV shows and movies who could appear in Disney and Lucasfilm's The Book of Boba Fett. This is the way...

5. Bo-Katan

Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) has appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars: Rebels, and The Mandalorian, and is the former leader of a terrorist cell known as Death Watch. While she was previously more or less a villain, she's now one of the good guys, although this could change yet again as she's rumored to fight it out with Din Djarin in The Mandalorian Season 3 so that she can reclaim the Darksaber and with it, the throne of Mandalore.

But does she have a history with Boba Fett? If you've watched The Mandalorian Season 2, you'll remember that the pair had a run-in in the finale "The Rescue". Bo-Katan views Boba Fett as nothing more than a clone, and therefore a disgrace to the Mandalorian armor he wears. So it's possible the two will cross paths again in The Book of Boba Fett. But whether or not they'll become enemies or allies remains to be seen.

4. Koska Reeves

Very little is known about the character of Koska Reeves (Sasha Banks), other than the fact she's Nite Owl and therefore one of Bo-Katan's two fellow Mandalorians who appear in The Mandalorian Season 2. As such, she's an equally astonishing fighter, and almost gives Boba Fett a run for his galactic credits when things get heated between the two in "The Rescue". But based on what we've seen so far, Koska Reeves isn't a bad guy.

After all, she played a part in saving Din Djarin and Grogu in "The Heiress" and in "The Rescue". She might seem a little rough around the edges, but she's a complimentary acquaintance to Bo-Katan, and fans are eager to see more of this electrifying new character. And seeing as she had quite the altercation with Boba Fett - again, largely due to the fact she and Bo-Katan view him as a 'disgrace - it's very possible she could show up in The Book of Boba Fett.

3. Din Jarin

How could we possibly talk about which Mandalorian characters could appear in The Book of Boba Fett without addressing the Bantha in the room? Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) is the star of the hit show The Mandalorian, which so far has been used to introduce characters old and new, including most of the characters on this list. So is it possible Din Djarin, the star of his own show, could appear in the brand-new Star Wars show for a major crossover event?

We think this is likely, especially seeing as Disney and Lucasfilm previously confirmed that all three shows - The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and the upcoming Ahsoka - will all run in parallel with one another (or thereabouts, as The Book of Boba Fett has been dubbed as 'The Mandalorian Season 2.5', seeing as it's sandwiched between two seasons). Exactly how Din Djarin could appear is unknown, but he definitely owes Boba a favor after "The Tragedy"!

2. Sabine Wren

Sabine Wren has only ever appeared in animated form, and is a main character in Star Wars: Rebels. However, recently, Disney and Lucasfilm confirmed that she will be brought to life in live-action in Ahsoka, and will be played by 27-year-old actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo. This has generated a lot of excitement for the upcoming show, as it's shaping up to be a sequel-of-sorts to Rebels, and it's also rumored to feature Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn.

So now that Sabine Wren has finally been cast in live-action, it's possible she could show up in The Book of Boba Fett, even if it's for a cameo. After all, she's a Mandalorian, and a graffiti artist - perhaps Boba will want to redecorate Jabba's Palace! But on a more serious note, as Sabine Wren is set to appear in Ahsoka, it's possible there will be a major crossover between the three live-action shows, something Disney and Lucasfilm have also previously hinted at.

1. Jango Fett

Jango Fett has already appeared in The Book of Boba Fett, but not in the way we're suggesting. In the very first episode, while in the bacta tank, Boba is dreaming and we see a flashback of him as a child picking up the helmet of his father who moments before was killed by Jedi Master Mace Windu (Samuel L Jackson), a scene from Episode III: Attack of the Clones (although many fans are complaining it's not identical, despite it being a dream sequence).

While we understand that Jango Fett, who was also played by Temuera Morrison (as was every other clone in the prequel trilogy), was decapitated in the Battle of Geonosis, it's plain to see from the first episode alone that flashbacks will play a huge part in The Book of Boba Fett, as well non-chronological storytelling. The show does operate along the main timeline, though, but so far, it has been no stranger to revisiting the past.
