10. Emperor Palpatine

Obi-Wan Kenobi will take place 10 years after Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. This means that the Galactic Empire are exactly a decade into their reign over the galaxy, which means that Emperor Palpatine will be at the height of his power. While we don't at all expect Obi-Wan Kenobi to fight Palpatine, we do expect to see him, whether it's barking orders at Darth Vader through a hologram, or announcing "Empire Day" across the galaxy.

9. Bo-Katan Kryze

If you aren't familiar with Star Wars: The Clone Wars or Star Wars: Rebels, you might only know Bo-Katan from her time in The Mandalorian. However, the character has fought alongside Obi-Wan in the former show, after Maul kills her sister, Satine, Obi-Wan's lover. If she is to show up in Obi-Wan Kenobi, we would either get a de-aged Katee Sackhoff, or a new actress, with Sackhoff lending her voice as she does in the two animated shows.

8. Anakin Skywalker

We know that Hayden Christensen will be appearing in Obi-Wan Kenobi, and we also know that there will be a battle between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader, teased as "the rematch of the century" by Lucasfilm. But what hasn't been confirmed is whether we'll see Anakin Skywalker. This is a huge possibility, whether it's through a flashback from the prequel trilogy, or a new scene with a de-aged Hayden Christensen. Like father, like son then!

7. Qui-Gon Jinn

Ever since Obi-Wan Kenobi was announced, there has been a lot of speculation about whether or not Liam Neeson will reprise his role as Qui-Gon Jinn, the Jedi Knight who is killed by Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. And while Neeson appears to have possibly teased this in a recent interview, nothing has been confirmed. Here's to hoping Neeson shows up as a Force Ghost to guide his former Jedi apprentice.

6. Mace Windu

We know what you're thinking - Mace Windu is deader than dead, having been killed by Anakin Skywalker and Emperor Palpatine in a joint effort in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. However, fans have been begging for his return for years, which has certainly kept the rumor mill spinning, which suggests that the Jedi Knight may be alive and well but in hiding, like all the other Jedi. Besides, who doesn't want to see Samuel L Jackson return?!

5. Princess Leia

We already know that a young Luke Skywalker will feature in Obi-Wan Kenobi, but what's unclear is whether we'll also get to see a young Princess Leia? We refuse to believe that Obi-Wan would only watch over Luke and not his twin sister, so we expect to see the Jedi Knight pay a visit to Alderaan during the upcoming show. So far, both Vivien Lyra Blair and Millie Bobby Brown have been rumored to be playing the character.

4. Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka Tano is set to have her own live-action show in the coming months, which will orbit the same period of time as The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. But the Togruta may also show up in Obi-Wan Kenobi, even if it is set 10 years after the prequel trilogy ends. If this does turn out to be the case, Rosario Dawson will need to step aside as a younger actress will need to be cast for Ahsoka to be reunited with her old friend, Obi-Wan.

3. Darth Maul

Darth Maul has had a bone to pick with Obi-Wan Kenobi ever since the Jedi cut him in half at the end of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace and their many battles in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In Star Wars: Rebels, the disgraced Sith Lord is relentless in his hunt for Kenobi, and eventually tracks him down. But as Rebels is set 4 years after Obi-Wan Kenobi, it's unlikely we'll see Ewan McGregor and Ray Park on screen together.

2. Grogu

It might surprise you to learn that nothing is known about Grogu's whereabouts between leaving the Jedi Temple on Coruscant during Order 66 and his first appearance in The Mandalorian. We learn a little bit more about him in The Book of Boba Fett, but it's still not much to go by. So it's entirely possible for Grogu to make an appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi, and if he does, we may finally learn who rescued him from the Great Purge.

1. Yoda

Seeing as Yoda is alive the time Obi-Wan Kenobi will take place, it's possible that Obi-Wan will be reunited with him in some shape or form. Whether it's in the flesh or through the Force remains to be seen, but either way, it's unlikely Yoda leaves Dagobah during his exile, as nothing in canon has stated that he ever left after arriving. However, as we see in the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer, the Jedi won't be spending the whole show on Tatooine.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will begin streaming on Disney+ on May 25, 2022, 45 years to the day since Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope was released in theaters.
